Celess' Story

Celess Helping Hands was founded in 2009 in honor of Celess Broadnax, a true servant and warrior for the people. She was the mother to the founder who was inspired by her unwavering dedication to serving the community, we established our programs to continue her legacy of compassion and empowerment.

Our comprehensive Youth Enrichment Program is designed to support young individuals aged 13 to 25 as they navigate the complexities of adolescence and transition into adulthood. We offer a blend of training, mentorship, and personalized services to foster personal growth, resilience, and self-sufficiency. Our commitment to addressing the diverse needs of youth, including those facing socioeconomic disparities, homelessness, and other barriers to success, ensures that each participant receives the support they need to reach their full potential.

In addition, our Parent Enrichment Program is a dynamic initiative crafted to support and empower parents facing the challenges of contemporary family life. Through engaging group sessions, specialized training, and personalized guidance, we equip parents with the tools and knowledge to build strong familial bonds and foster positive development in their children. Our program addresses critical aspects of parenting, including time management, self-esteem building, motivation strategies, and coping with trauma and loss.

At Celess Helping Hands, we are dedicated to creating a supportive community where youth and families can thrive. Join us in our mission to empower individuals and strengthen our community, continuing the legacy of Celess Broadnax.
