Celess M. Broadnax
2009: Celess Helping Hands was founded in honor of Celess Broadnax, a true servant and warrior for the people, with a mission to empower youth and families.
2010: Launched the Youth Enrichment Program, offering training, mentorship, and personalized services to support young individuals aged 13 to 25.
2012: Expanded our services to include the Parent Empowerment Program, providing comprehensive support, workshops, and guidance for parents facing the challenges of contemporary family life.
2014: Introduced community engagement initiatives, connecting participants with local resources and opportunities for growth.
2016: Developed specialized training sessions addressing critical topics such as abuse, neglect, and overcoming obstacles.
2018: Enhanced our programs to include life skills training, college and career preparation, fostering emotional, social, and cognitive development among youth.
2020: Addressed the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic by offering virtual support and resources to ensure continuous engagement and assistance for our participants.
2022: Celebrated over a decade of service, reaching out to youth and families and making a significant impact on our community.
Present: Continuously evolving and expanding our programs to meet the changing needs of our community, while staying true to the legacy of Celess Broadnax.
